BECE: Selection of schools begins Aug 23

THE selection of schools for candidates who just completed the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) has been scheduled from August 23 to September 4, 2023, the Ghana Education Service (GES) has disclosed.

The GES in a statement informed the general public particularly parents, candidates and teachers that “the sensitization and education on this year’s guidelines for school selection into Senior High Schools will commence Friday August, 18, 2023.”

“This exercise will take place in all the respective Regional, District Education Directorates and schools” the statement said, advising parents and guardians to take keen interest in the selection of schools processes to ensure a smooth placement this year.
