Labadi Beach Hotel pays GH¢16.5m dividend to SSNIT
GHANA’S premier five-star facility, Labadi Beach Hotel, has celebrated a significant achievement with a GH¢16,509,000 dividend payout to its sole shareholder, the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT), at its Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The milestone reflects the hotel’s solid financial performance and its commitment to raising standards in Ghana’s hospitality industry.
Managing Director David Eduaful, who was named CIMG Marketing Man of the Year 2023, highlighted the dedication of the Labadi Beach team, emphasizing that every guest experience and accolade reinforces the hotel’s vision of excellence.
This year, Labadi Beach Hotel garnered multiple awards, including CIMG Hospitality Facility of the Year 2023, Five-Star Hotel of the Year (both Regional and National) by the Ghana Tourism Authority, and Hospitality Company of the Year from Globe Productions.
These honours reaffirm the hotel’s status as a leader in the West African hospitality industry.
Board Chairman Professor Douglas Boateng praised the hotel’s corporate governance and strategic direction. He credited the hotel’s success to minimal interference from SSNIT, strong governance practices, and a focus on quality.
According to Boateng, this collaborative approach has propelled Labadi Beach Hotel to its current stature and continues to drive its achievements.
