Ghana’s workforce is getting a major upgrade as SeamlessHR, Africa’s leading HR technology company, and the HR Certification Centre (HRCC) join forces to modernise human resource (HR) practices and unlock new opportunities for businesses and jobseekers alike.

The partnership, sealed with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Accra, will blend cutting-edge HR technology with internationally recognised training and certification. The aim: to help companies hire smarter, retain top talent, and build efficient teams that can compete in today’s fast-changing economy.

Why this matters for SMEs and employees

Many small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Ghana still rely on manual HR systems that make hiring, payroll, and performance management slow and costly. The SeamlessHR–HRCC collaboration will provide HR professionals with practical digital tools and modern skills to streamline these processes, freeing up resources for business growth and innovation.

For employees and jobseekers, the shift promises better-managed workplaces, fairer recruitment practices, and new opportunities to develop in-demand skills. As HR teams embrace data-driven systems, performance reviews can become more transparent, career development paths clearer, and training more tailored to individual strengths.

“Technology and capacity building must go hand in hand,” said Hackman Dabantib, Senior Sales Manager at SeamlessHR. “We’re giving HR professionals the tools to create real value for both their organisations and the people they employ.”

Building careers for the future

HRCC’s Executive Director, Pearl Amoah Amponsah, described the move as a milestone in the country’s HR transformation.

“By digitising HR processes, we’re enabling companies to make faster, more informed decisions about their people. Ultimately, we’re helping to build a community of HR professionals who can support businesses in creating workplaces where employees thrive,” she said.

The partnership will also roll out certification-backed digital training programmes, helping a new generation of HR practitioners develop the tech-savvy skills needed to support Ghana’s transition to a knowledge-driven economy.

A win for the economy

Stronger HR systems mean higher productivity, better talent retention, and fewer inefficiencies, all critical for a Ghanaian economy aiming to attract investment, create sustainable jobs, and compete globally. By equipping HR teams with the right tools and training, the partnership is expected to help SMEs scale operations and empower workers to build successful, future-ready careers.

Ultimately, SeamlessHR and HRCC share a vision of workplaces that work for everyone: efficient for employers, empowering for employees, and resilient enough to drive Ghana’s economic growth for years to come.
