The Ministry of Finance has officially relocated its offices to Kanda in Accra as part of efforts to enhance operational efficiency, coordination and responsiveness in the execution of its mandate.

In a press release dated February 6, 2026, the Ministry announced that it will commence full operations at the new Kanda offices from Monday, February 9, 2026.

According to the statement, the relocation is intended to improve internal coordination and strengthen service delivery to the public, businesses and other stakeholders, particularly at a time when fiscal management and economic reforms remain high on the national agenda.

The Ministry clarified that the new office facility at Kanda was constructed by the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) prior to the current administration assuming office, and forms part of existing state infrastructure now being repurposed to support government operations.

New Address, Same Contact Channels

The Ministry’s new physical location is on Tumu Avenue, Kanda, Accra, with a digital address of GV-002-6511. Its postal address remains P.O. Box MB 40, Ministries, Accra, ensuring continuity in official correspondence.

The Ministry also assured the public that all official contact telephone numbers and email addresses remain unchanged, and that all correspondence, visits and enquiries should now be directed to the Kanda offices.

Continuity of Operations

The Finance Ministry emphasized that the relocation will not disrupt its work, including engagement with development partners, financial institutions, private sector operators and the general public.

It expressed confidence that the move will support improved service delivery and operational effectiveness as it continues to manage Ghana’s public finances, economic policy coordination and fiscal reforms.
