The Luckiest Puts Communities at the Centre of Its Fourth Season
New community draw gives 100 communities a stake in Ghana’s latest seasonal lottery

What if buying a lottery ticket could mean more than waiting for your own number to come up?
That is the idea behind the fourth edition of The Luckiest™ Seasonal Draw, which is putting communities at the centre of its 2026 campaign with a new reward structure designed to give participating communities a direct stake in the draw.
Launched in Accra, the latest season runs from September 22 to December 19, with tickets available from GH¢1 through the *712# platform.
Organised by GENIUSLOCI Limited and regulated by the National Lottery Authority (NLA), the draw brings together 100 communities and 100,000 unique tickets, alongside individual rewards and a new range of promotional prizes.
100 communities, four opportunities
The new Community Draw is one of the key additions to Season 4.
Each of the 100 participating communities has 1,000 unique tickets in the draw. Four communities will subsequently be selected for rewards.
The first community drawn will receive 10 times the value of the ticket purchased, while the second, third and fourth communities will receive seven, five and three times the ticket value respectively.
The structure gives the community assigned to a ticket an added role in the outcome, rather than leaving the draw entirely at the individual level.
Small ticket, bigger possibilities
The organisers have also kept the entry point low.
Participants can buy tickets from GH¢1 and purchase multiple tickets through the *712# platform. After a transaction, the buyer receives confirmation from their telecommunications provider and a separate message from The Luckiest™ showing the amount purchased, ticket number and assigned community.
For consumers, the process provides a simple way to keep track of their participation while knowing where their ticket sits within the community pool.
Rewards beyond the main draw
The community initiative comes alongside several other opportunities to win.
Under the Luckiest Gift Promo, anyone who purchases tickets worth GH¢100 is guaranteed a gift, with rewards including rent advance support, television sets, restaurant vouchers and other items.
There will also be a three-draw reward scheme, giving three randomly selected tickets additional bonuses on the night of the draw.
The separate Bonus Draw will select three tickets from the 100,000-ticket pool, with each winner receiving 100 times the value of the ticket purchased.
At the top of the structure is the Ultimate Draw, where one randomly selected ticket will receive 1,000 times its purchased value, up from 500 times in the previous season.

A draw built around participation
Chief Executive Officer of GENIUSLOCI, Dennis Adutwum, said the new season is intended to combine consumer rewards with a wider programme aimed at returning value to participating communities.
The company says its longer-term objective is to use the draw to support practical needs, including small businesses, artisans, education and community initiatives.
Now in its fourth season, The Luckiest™ is therefore presenting itself not simply as a competition for individual prizes, but as a model that links participation with community-focused rewards.
For GENIUSLOCI, the test will be whether that connection can turn a simple GH¢1 ticket into something participants see as having value beyond the chance of an individual win.
