The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) has reaffirmed its commitment to inclusive development by funding the refurbishment of the ICT Centre at Dzorwulu Special School and donating new computers valued at over GH₵157,000. The initiative, complemented by staff contributions of groceries and bottled water, is designed to empower students with special needs through improved access to digital learning resources.

Speaking during the presentation, GSE Managing Director, Abena Amoah, said the project reflects the Exchange’s broader vision of using education as a tool for empowerment. “Technology has become central to modern education, and no child should be excluded from its benefits. By investing in the Dzorwulu Special School ICT Centre, we are equipping students with essential skills for the future while fulfilling our mandate of social responsibility,” she noted.

The Headmaster of the school, Frederick Tetteh, expressed appreciation, describing the initiative as a game-changer for the institution. “This support will not only improve learning outcomes but also provide our children with a stronger foundation in technology, boosting their confidence and creativity,” he said.

Beyond its role as Ghana’s premier capital market operator, the GSE continues to position itself as a partner in national development. Its focus on education, social welfare, and community projects demonstrates how corporate institutions can leverage their resources to create long-term social impact.
