Over 2,500 Ecobank customers rewarded in promo

Ecobank Ghana has rewarded 2,506 customers in the first draw of the “Ecobank Million Geng” promo, launched to appreciate loyal customers.

The winners are set to receive cash prizes ranging from GH₵10,000 to GH₵2,500, fuel coupons, and airtime among others.

 The campaign, which runs from May to July 2024, aims to reward over 7 million valued customers.

To qualify, customers must deposit a minimum of GH₵500, maintain it for seven days, and complete four transactions on Ecobank’s digital channels.

The bank’s Head of Consumer Products, William Danso-Abeam, encouraged customers to be excited about the promo and the opportunity to work with Ecobank, with five more draws to come.

“Ecobank is noted for working together with our customers; year after year we put up one programme or the other, in the past years we had our double salary promo which saw some customers have their salaries doubled, others quadrupled. To us as Ecobank it is always a way of saying thank you for all that you keep doing with us.” He said.

He urged all customers of the bank, both existing and prospective to be excited about the latest promo and also be excited about working with Ecobank , adding  that “if you don’t get to be part of today’s winners, don’t think that it’s the end of it ; we have five more draws ahead of us , three mini draws and two grand draws.”

The prestigious bank launched the dynamic deposit mobilization campaign on May 8, 2024, aimed at rewarding and appreciating over 7 million valued customers and is set to run from May to July 2024.

Both existing and prospective customers of the bank were to deposit a minimum of GH500 and multiples of same , maintain in account for a minimum of seven days and “you qualify to be part of the draw; additionally, do at least four transactions on any of our digital channels and you qualify to win or have a chance amongst those who will be winning.

“For our digital channels, we have the Ecobank mobile app, Ecobank point of sale, you can also use your credit card to transact on the POS,” he explained.

Head of Digital Sales – Ecobank CMB and Ecobank Group Digital Marketing Lead, Madam Regina Ofori intimated that Ecobank was excited to introduce the campaign as a token of gratitude to its loyal customers, adding that the promo was a way of giving back and expressing appreciation for their continued support.
