National sales leaders confab to pool over 1,000 industry leaders

The Accra International Conference Centre is set to host the maiden National Sales Leaders Conference (NSLC) from August 14 to 15, 2024, bringing together over 1,000 participants from various industries.

The event, aimed at highlighting the pivotal role of sales in driving economic growth, will feature prominent speakers, including the Minister of Finance, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, and the Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry, Mr. Michael Kofi Okyere Baafi.

Dr. Amin Adam, who is leading Ghana’s economic transformation, will deliver a keynote address as the special guest of honour, focusing on how government policies are accelerating sales to foster economic recovery. He is expected to update the business community on key initiatives designed to support business growth in the country.

Mr. Okyere Baafi will speak on the importance of sales in promoting trade and inclusive growth, detailing measures implemented by the government to attract more investments into Ghana. His address will underscore the necessity of sales in advancing the nation’s trade objectives.

The President of the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG), Dr. Daniel Kasser Tee, and seasoned sales expert Mr. Michael Abbiw, CEO of MGA Consulting Ghana Limited, will also contribute to the conference, providing insights into effective sales strategies and their impact on organizational revenue growth and economic development.

Organized under the theme “Sales Unleashed: The Role of Sales in Sustained Organizational Revenue Growth and Economic Development,” the conference aims to provide a platform for sales, marketing, and business development professionals to explore current challenges and opportunities in Ghana’s sales environment. The event will feature keynote sessions, seminars, panel discussions, and workshops, focusing on innovations in sales, sustainable strategies, and leadership.

The conference, organised by CorEvents Solutions Limited and MGA Consulting Ghana Limited, in partnership with the CIMG and the Sekondi-Takoradi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (STCCI), is expected to become an annual event, with sponsorship from leading organizations such as Telecel, Star Oil, Fidelity Bank, and Hollard Insurance.

General Manager of CorEvents Solutions, Clarus Kwofie highlighted the importance of the conference in empowering sales teams with modern technologies and strategies, emphasizing its potential to drive revenue growth and enhance brand recognition. He expressed confidence that the conference would initiate a national dialogue on the critical role of sales in Ghana’s economy, positioning it as a key event in the country’s business calendar.
