PETROSOL Commits to Better Fuel Service, Protection of Dealer Investments

PETROSOL Platinum Energy PLC says it is investing in the maintenance and upgrading of its service stations to improve fuel service and protect the investments of its dealers.
The company says the work will include replacing fuel dispensing pumps at stations that need them, with the aim of reducing delays and making service faster for customers.

The announcement was made at a national meeting with PETROSOL dealers and business partners in Kumasi, where management reviewed the performance of its service stations and discussed challenges affecting their operations.
The meeting also gave dealers the opportunity to raise concerns and make suggestions on how the company could improve the performance of individual stations.
Chief Executive Officer of PETROSOL Platinum Energy PLC, Michael Bozumbil, said the company valued the contribution of its dealers and would continue to take steps to protect their investments.
He said this was particularly important at a time when changes in fuel prices continued to affect businesses in the downstream petroleum sector.
“Our dealers are an integral part of the PETROSOL family. Your commitment and partnership have contributed significantly to our growth, and we deeply appreciate the confidence you continue to place in the business,” he said.
Mr Bozumbil said the planned maintenance works and replacement of dispensing pumps would help improve the running of stations and reduce the time customers spend waiting for service.
He also urged dealers to maintain the required operating standards, saying the way customers were treated at the stations had a direct bearing on their perception of the PETROSOL brand.
He asked dealers to ensure that customers received safe, efficient and professional service.
More than fuel
PETROSOL is also considering new ways of attracting and retaining customers beyond fuel sales.
Head of Marketing, Philip Boamah Assampong, said the company was exploring value-added services and incentives for loyal customers.
He said fuel retailers needed to pay greater attention to the experience customers received at their stations.
“Our ambition is to ensure that every PETROSOL station becomes more than just a place to buy fuel. We want to create an experience that gives customers a reason to choose PETROSOL, return to PETROSOL and recommend PETROSOL,” he said.

Mr Assampong said the company would continue to engage dealers and other stakeholders and use their feedback to address problems affecting service delivery.
PETROSOL said the dealer engagement was part of its efforts to maintain regular communication with its business partners and improve operations across its service station network.
The company expects the station upgrades and improved engagement with dealers to help raise service standards while supporting the businesses of its partners.
