Dubai Winter Getaway Offers More for Travellers as Emirates Adds Attraction Passes

Share

Dubai is heading into its winter travel season with a mix of attractions, entertainment, shopping and cultural experiences, and Emirates is giving travellers another reason to include the city in their holiday plans.

Travellers booking eligible return tickets to Dubai with Emirates will receive complimentary passes worth AED535 to three attractions: Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark, Lost World Aquarium and the Dubai City Sightseeing bus.

The offer gives visitors different ways to spend their time in the city, whether they are travelling with children, taking a break with friends or looking for a short getaway.

Three ways to see Dubai

At Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark, visitors can spend the day on water slides and other attractions, while the Lost World Aquarium offers a closer look at marine life, including sharks and rays.

The Dubai City Sightseeing bus provides a different way to explore the city, taking visitors past major landmarks including the Burj Khalifa and into older parts of Dubai such as the Al Fahidi district.

For first-time visitors, the bus can provide an easy introduction to the city. For returning travellers, it offers a chance to see familiar places from a different perspective.

Making room for food, shopping and leisure

The attractions are only part of what travellers can do once they arrive.

Through My Emirates Pass, passengers can access discounts and other offers at participating restaurants, shops, spas and leisure venues across Dubai and the UAE by presenting their Emirates boarding pass and valid identification.

Travellers can also use Dubai Experience to put together their own itineraries, with options covering hotels, restaurants, tours, attractions and activities.

That allows visitors to choose how much of their trip they want to spend sightseeing, shopping, eating out or trying activities.

A holiday that can be planned around different budgets

Dubai Experience includes activities at different price points, which means visitors do not necessarily have to build their holiday around the most expensive attractions.

A family could combine the complimentary water park and aquarium visits with sightseeing, while a couple might spend more time exploring the city’s restaurants, shopping districts and cultural sites.

For a short city break, visitors can also choose a handful of activities rather than trying to cover the entire city in one trip.

More flexibility for changing plans

Emirates is also offering greater flexibility to customers travelling to Dubai on eligible tickets.

Passengers can change their travel dates without a fee across all cabin classes. They can also hold a fare for 24 hours without charge, while reduced refund fees are available.

Travellers can purchase Emirates Comprehensive Travel Cover when booking or later through Manage Your Booking. The cover includes medical expenses, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation and baggage delay or loss.

Miles can add to the trip

Members of Emirates Skywards can also use the loyalty programme while in Dubai.

Skywards members receive free Wi-Fi on Emirates flights and can earn or redeem Miles through participating retailers, restaurants and leisure businesses in the UAE.

Miles can also be used at selected outlets at Dubai International Airport and Dubai Duty Free. Travellers can earn Miles from spending at participating outlets in Dubai Mall and through other Skywards partners.

For regular Emirates passengers, this gives them another way to get value from spending during a holiday.

Dubai in the cooler months

Winter is one of the city’s busiest periods, with festivals, entertainment and other major events adding to the attractions available to visitors.

For travellers, that means a Dubai break can be built around different interests rather than a single activity. A day can begin at a water park, move into sightseeing or a visit to a historic district and end with dinner, shopping or entertainment.

The Emirates offer applies to eligible return tickets purchased between September 21 and October 11, 2026, for travel between September 24 and December 13, 2026.

Customers from 88 countries travelling to Dubai can also benefit from visa-on-arrival arrangements.

With the winter season approaching, the combination of attractions, dining, shopping, sightseeing and flexible travel options gives visitors plenty of ways to shape a Dubai holiday around the time and budget they have available.
