West Africa Roadshow connects Ghanaian investors with global opportunities
Troy Henry, Managing Director of Private Clients at Henry and Partners, has emphasized the significance of the ongoing West Africa Roadshow, which is touted as the largest investment migration event in the region. The Roadshow makes stops in three key cities: Abuja, Lagos, and Accra, providing wealthy investors in these cities with exclusive access to residence and citizenship by investment services.
Speaking on the event’s relevance, Henry highlighted that the primary focus is on offering high-net-worth individuals the opportunity to obtain second citizenship or residency, especially for those frustrated by the cumbersome visa processes required for frequent global travel. “Many of our clients, primarily businesspeople and high-level professionals, seek global mobility to avoid the hassle of applying for visas. They want the freedom to travel to places like the UK, US, or Canada without restrictions,” he explained.
In Ghana, the Roadshow mainly caters to two groups: businesspeople aiming to simplify international travel and families seeking opportunities abroad, whether for relocation or to provide their children with education and employment opportunities in countries like the US or the UK.
The event brings experts from across the globe to West Africa, offering these investors first-hand insights into various investment migration options. Henry added that as the West Africa Roadshow grows, it will likely expand beyond its current three-city route, bringing these services to more African nations in the future.
This event is seen as a key gateway for wealthy Ghanaians to increase their global presence and access new opportunities, either through citizenship, residence, or establishing international business ventures.
