GSE Suspends Trading on May Day

The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) has announced a suspension of trading activities on Thursday, May 1, 2025, in observance of the statutory May Day public holiday.

In a notice issued to all market participants and investors, the GSE indicated that there will be no trading on the Ghana Securities Market on the declared holiday. The Exchange disclosed that operations will resume as normal on Friday, May 2, 2025.

The move aligns with national observance of May Day, which is dedicated to celebrating workers and their contributions to Ghana’s socio-economic development.

Market participants and stakeholders were advised to take note of the closure and plan their investment and trading activities accordingly.
