Public relations for value creation- IPR Ghana marks 50years of excellence
The Institute of Public Relations (IPR) Ghana will launch its 50th anniversary celebration on July 16, 2024, coinciding with World PR Day. Themed “Public Relations for Value Creation,” the event will take place in Accra.
The launch will feature various activities, including the investiture of the newly elected Executive Committee of the Institute.
The celebration will see attendance from IPR Ghana members, sister associations, political party representatives, the Peace Council, industry leaders, and civil society organizations.
The launch is part of the annual IPR Ghana Week, during which the Institute showcases and celebrates the value of the public relations profession.
President of IPR and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Stratcomm Africa, Esther A. N. Cobbah, emphasized the importance of PR in adding value to individuals, organizations, and society. She highlighted that this year’s focus is on ethical communication for peacebuilding in an election year and invited all stakeholders to join in the celebrations.
